Today I had a simple meeting to share a report for a small job we were hired to do based on our reputation. The response I got dwarfed the fee for the job. I was told by the client that he respected our “high level of integrity” and that our report showed that we are “good at what you do“. Wow!
These are days where I am truly grateful and thankful for those who’ve guided me along the way. Every time some asks about my background I can’t say enough about how beneficial it is to have solid mentors. Learning how buildings operate is not easy, but it’s a ton of fun when you are learning alongside the best in the business. Yeah, it’s cliche, but I’m still learning everyday. If you took the time to read this – you are probably one of the many who have left an impression on me, a skill for my tool bag, or maybe you’re the next person with whom I can share a little drop of what I’ve learned.
